The Town of Jupiter’s Code Compliance Department visits El Sol on a monthly basis to conduct informational workshops about the Town’s codes, laws and regulations. The Jupiter Police Department has also provided informational workshops at El Sol.
El Sol partners with the “Back to School Bash” to ensure that El Sol families & their children are well prepared for the school year.
EL Sol is an Extraordinary Charities! El Sol partners with Extraordinary Charities to increase the job opportunities for our clients by enhancing our kitchen division with a vocational training program.
El Sol partners with the FAU Honors College campus in Jupiter for events, education, and interns.
The Florida Literacy Coalition in partnership with Wells Fargo funds and guides El Sol financial literacy initiative. The Florida Literacy Coalition in partnership with Florida Blue also supports El Sol in promoting health literacy.
El Sol partners with C.R.O.S. (Christians Reaching Out to Society) to offer a food pantry as part of El Sol beginning January 2011. Non-perishable food items are collected by congregations, groups and individuals throughout Palm Beach County, and stored at pantries such as El Sol’s for distribution to needy families in the community.
Zumba in the Park – open to all residents. A weekly exercise class at Pine Gardens South/ Bruce St. Laurent Park behind the Jupiter Library. Provided at no cost to the community by a partnership with Healthier Jupiter and the Town of Jupiter.
Jupiter Medical Center partnered with El Sol to pilot Jupiter’s Volunteer Clinic. This clinic, soon to be re-named “MyClinic” receives many forms of support from Jupiter Medical Center. With JMC’s help, MyClinic, will be able to approach health concerns of the UN-insured and under-insured in Northern Palm Beach County.
MyClinic exists so that low-income, uninsured and underserved residents in our community have access to quality health services through a well-coordinated system of care.
El Sol is a member of Chamber . The Mission of the Chamber of Nonprofit Health and Human Services Agencies in Palm Beach County is to provide a forum to learn from trusted colleagues and an opportunity to provide advocacy for those we serve.
El Sol is a member of of the alliance that networks, promotes and educates the community about our cultural sector in the Northern Palm Beaches.
El Sol partners with Paint Your Heart Out Palm Beach County to help low income, senior, disabled and veteran homeowners maintain their dignity, safety and independence by helping them paint and perform other essential home repairs.
El Sol partners with Palm Beach State College – Lake Worth and the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Courses. El Sol also receives many volunteers from the College.
MyClinic/Jupiter Volunteer Clinic is also made possible by the Palm Beach County Health Department.
Rebuilding Together of the Palm Beaches
El Sol partners with Rebuilding Together, helping to achieve its mission to preserve affordable housing. El Sol workers volunteer every other month year-round to rehabilitate the homes of low-income homeowners in Jupiter.
El Sol’s “Promotores de Salud” program is organized and created by Rural Women’s Health Project.
El Sol partners with SWA contributing with their Litter Abatement and Community Service Programs during the year.
United Way of Palm Beach County partners with El Sol for our “Eat Smart” program. Through their funding El Sol is able to offer nutritious meals and nutritional/cooking workshops.
The VISTA program allowed El Sol to grow our programs by providing capacity building staff for El Sol.
