Local churches coordinate special events at El Sol for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Our cross-cultural holiday celebration is a growing and welcome tradition at El Sol. El Sol offers a Christmas Dinner for our workers (Closed event-not open to the public) held at our center on Christmas Day. The holidays can be very lonely for many of our workers who are living in the United States apart from their families. El Sol offers them a place at our table to celebrate Christmas with the community.
El Sol also offers a Thanksgiving dinner to the hungry and lonely on Thanksgiving Day. Each of these events are made possible by donations, please visit our donate page to make a difference.
Annual Jupiter Police Department Soccer Tournament
In 2013, El Sol participated in (and WON!) the Jupiter Police Department’s first annual soccer tournament. This event is a proactive approach to encourage El Sol’s workers to trust and build relationships with local Law Enforcement and community officials.
