El Sol became Nonprofits First Accredited! This mark of distinction demonstrates El Sol’s commitment to accountability, competence and excellence in nonprofit management. The accreditation team evaluated standards in a number of key areas, including: board governance, strategic planning, fundraising, risk management, human resources, and financial management. The accreditation further strengthened El Sol’s reputation and credibility in the community and with potential donors. Although it has only been a month, El Sol will begin the renewal process again for the 2016 year. El Sol would like to give a special thanks to Office Manager Karen Clark for spearheading this effort!
