A labor hall full of people fell mostly silent as Rufino Mateo Jesus took the graduation stage. The audience witnessed Rufino identify letters and sound out words. “It is never too late to learn,” he said.
Rufino raised his arms in victory and the audience cheered.
We offer basic literacy, elementary and high school level classes taught in Spanish. The certificates earned at El Sol are recognized by the governments of Mexico and Guatemala.
