Financial Literacy Consultant (FLC)
Project name: “ We Shine a Light on our Finances”
- El Sol Jupiter’s Neighborhood Resource Center is hiring a Consultant to be the project manager for “We Shine a Light on our Finances” which is a collaborative effort between El Sol Neighborhood Resource Center and the Foundation of Financial Planners to help increase the financial literacy in our community.
- Objective:
To coordinate a series of educational workshops geared to low-income adults in our community.
Required Skills
The successful candidate must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office; strong organizational and communication skills; ability to create flyers, surveys, and reports. Candidates must be able to work with a diverse and low –income community members. Candidates must be able to work independently. The FLC must be completely bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
Job Duties
The FLC will coordinate all aspects of the project and report directly to El Sol Associate Director. He/she will coordinate the dates, content of workshops, marketing tools, translation services and any other related aspect of the project in compliance to applicable grant guidelines. He/she needs to keep records of all administrative and filing requirements as well as comply with grant reporting needs.
Work schedule and Payment per hour:
The work schedule varies. The position is funded for 42 hours @ $20.00/hr.
